About SEED Internet

Hi, I'm Bill Stansky and SEED Internet Solutions is my home-based website design business I started in 2006. After 20+ years in the corporate design environment in Boston, I also taught both design and print production at Northeastern University for 7 years. Then, after the layoffs from downsizing, and the loss of my 19 year old son, Alex, to cancer, it was time for a change. I started doing some simple design work around the local area and ended up re-inventing myself, once again, as a web designer and developer.

My goal is quite simple:

• to provide a very customized, personal and timely service
• help my clients to build their presence on the internet
• have fun and enjoy the experience. As I've learned, life is too short!

On Working From Home

The perfect setting here in the Maine woods, the wind blowing in winter, the birds chirping in the spring and summer, the leaves rustling in the fall. Here I can think clearly, be creative, and sometimes even sneak in a nap in the afternoon! My wife and I know how important it is to balance work and still have a lifestyle that allows us to enjoy ourselves.
Oh, and the commute is great, too! Down the stairs, to the coffee pot, to the laptop! Perfect!

Working from home allows me to keep my pricing very competitive. Virtually no overhead, minimal expenses and flexible hours are what set me apart from the rest.

On Client Relationships

I've spent a lot of my career in technical service and support, and I understand the importance of gaining trust, commitment and respect from clients. Fairness and honesty are the cornerstones of any successful endeavour and that's how it is for SEED.

If I only work for 15 minutes on your job, you'll only be charged for 15 minutes. I don't charge for any research I might have to do in solving an application problem. And finally, you'll ALWAYS get more than you expected.
